Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team working 32 - 40+ hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting. ## Duties - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff - Follow recipes and presentation specifications - Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages ## Requirements - Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role - Knowledge of best practices for food safety and sanitation - Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks - Ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent communication skills - Certification from a culinary school is a plus but not required.
