Sort Team Associate

And now, we’re looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join our mission-driven team as Sort Team Associates!

As a Sort Team Associate, you’ll play a vital role in our warehouse operations. Your day-to-day will include:

• Sorting and organizing incoming electronic materials according to established procedures.
• Inspecting materials to identify different types of electronics and equipment.
• Moving, staging, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse.
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Safely using basic hand tools and warehouse equipment (when trained and authorized).
• Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
• Following all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Meeting productivity and quality expectations.
• Collaborating with team members and other departments.
• Taking on additional general warehouse duties as assigned.

We’re looking for team players who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to our mission. Here’s what you need to succeed:

• Experience: Previous warehouse, production, recycling, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
• Dependability: Strong attendance and reliability are a must.
• Skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials throughout the workday.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following workplace safety requirements.
• Language Skills: Spanish-speaking or Chinese/Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.
• Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and openness to taking on additional responsibilities are highly valued.

This is a hands-on role that involves:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Safely handling warehouse materials and equipment.
