Does This Sound Like You?

• Patient problem-solver who enjoys helping DIYers work find the right materials
• Naturally curious and confident in asking clarifying questions to ensure you understand the project
• Outgoing and friendly, a strong verbal and written communicator who can talk intelligently about construction and building materials

The Experience We'd Love To See:

• Solid understanding of residential construction basics (sheds, garages, roofing, siding)
• Experience selling lumber, roofing, siding, in-home, at a lumberyard or at home improvement or big box retailer
• Ability to quickly calculate material needs based on a project definition
• Past success in a sales, department manager, or project manager role related to residential construction or remodeling
• Past knowledge of and experience with planning remodeling projects is strongly preferred

What You'll Get To Do:

• Guide walk-in and repeat customers through project planning and material selection
• Build trust as the go-to resource for construction projects for homeowners, house flippers, and DIY'ers
• When not supporting your homeowner and DIY Customer base, support the lumberyards pro customer base projects.
• Grow your product knowledge across multiple categories, not just one specialty
• Work in a true Inside Sales roleat a desk with a computer, not standing at a counter all day - but being there to serve walk-in or call in customers
