Villa Reale Pizzeria Restaurant is looking for a passionate, responsible, and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. We are a friendly, locally owned restaurant in Downtown Pittsburgh committed to serving fresh, high-quality food and providing excellent customer service.
Job Type:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare salads, appetizers, sandwiches, pasta dishes, pizzas, and other menu items
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assist with daily kitchen prep
- Follow recipes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Stock and rotate ingredients according to food safety standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience is required
- Experience preparing salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and appetizers is preferred
- Pizza-making experience is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
