School-Based Physical Therapist - Decatur, Georgia

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience working in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to pediatric care
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized therapies to a caseload of 30-35 students
• Conduct 2-4 physical therapy evaluations per month and update progress reports as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning
• Develop activity-based interventions to support student mobility, access, and participation in school routines
• Consult with classroom staff on adapting physical activities and fostering an inclusive environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school procedures
