Material Handler: McHenry, Illinois
Our customer in McHenry,Illinois,is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Material Handler to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll support manufacturing operations by receiving materials, moving heavy reels to production machines, and ensuring the correct materials are available for machine operators.
Responsibilities of the Material Handler:
- Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against orders.
- Move heavy reels and materials to machines for production use.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport materials safely.
- Read work orders and material labels to ensure correct wire and materials are used.
- Support machine operators by staging materials as needed.
- Maintain organized and safe material storage areas.
- Follow all safety procedures andwork instructions at all times.
Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Pay for Material Handler:$18.00/hour.
