This role involves setting up and operating hydraulic press equipment, CNC machines, lathes, and grinders to forge or package railroad anchors and related components. You ensure products meet customer specifications by monitoring machine performance, adjusting settings, and performing routine maintenance. You read and interpret blueprints or job orders to determine required tooling and product specifications, while maintaining a clean, safe work area in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a production facility that uses hydraulic presses, CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other industrial equipment to manufacture railroad anchors and related components. The environment is non-temperature-controlled, so conditions can be hot or cold depending on the season. The workspace is typically dirty and dusty, and tasks can be physically demanding, involving heavy lifting and strenuous machine operation. Team members work on their feet for extended periods and perform general labor, assembly, and housekeeping duties to keep the area safe and organized, following all established safety procedures.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor Mill, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
