Summary
The Implementation Project Manager leads the end-to-end onboarding of new customer, applying project management discipline to scope, plan, execute, and deliver successful implementations. This role owns the project lifecycle for each onboarding engagementdefining timelines, managing risk, coordinating cross-functional resources, and driving every client toward a fully operational go-live. The ideal candidate brings strong PM methodology and stakeholder management skills to a fast-paced healthcare services environment.
Job Functions
- Own the full project lifecycle for new customer implementations: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies, resource allocation, and critical path for credentialing, IT setup, and communication protocols.
- Manage project risk by identifying potential roadblocks early, developing mitigation plans, and escalating issues before they impact timelines.
- Serve as the central point of accountability across cross-functional teams (IT, Credentialing, Scheduling, and Operations team), ensuring clear ownership of tasks and deliverables.
- Track and report project status, milestones, and KPIs to internal leadership and client stakeholders using standardized project tracking tools.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status check-ins, training sessions, and post-launch reviews to confirm scope is met and the client is operationally ready.
- Maintain a repeatable implementation framework, including templates, workflows, and documentation, to improve consistency and delivery speed across projects.
- Conduct post-project retrospectives to capture lessons learned and drive continuous process improvement.
- Manage multiple concurrent customer implementation projects, prioritizing based on timeline, complexity, and business impact.

- Strong project management fundamentals: scope management, scheduling, milestone tracking, and risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Strategic, analytical problem-solver comfortable managing shifting priorities and competing deadlines
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems and healthcare credentialing processes a strong advantage
Qualifications Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project management, client implementation, or healthcare operations, preferably in a radiology or healthcare service setting
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification a plus (not required)
