Pay Rate: $19.04 per hour
Shift: 3rd shift nights, 10–12-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with every other weekend coverage on Friday and Saturday

Position Summary
The Assembly Operator performs routine production duties while operating and maintaining assembly equipment. This position is responsible for inspecting, packaging, labeling, and accurately documenting assembled products in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain assembly equipment.
  • Visually inspect assembled products to ensure they meet requirements outlined in the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and assembly documentation.
  • Package finished products according to the applicable packing process sheet.
  • Complete required production paperwork, including:
    • Production quantities
    • Scrap
    • Downtime
    • Equipment problems
    • Labor reporting
  • Count products by weight and accurately fill totes.
  • Label products to ensure proper identification and count accuracy.
  • Move products from one process to the next.
  • Load and unload components into and out of assembly equipment as needed.
  • Follow established procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform other routine production duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Ability to complete production documentation accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn company policies, procedures, and basic assembly operations.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is helpful but not required.
