Job Title: Machine OperatorJob Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will play a crucial role in sanding, grinding, assembling, and cutting restaurant furniture including table tops, garbage vestibules, and booths. You will utilize hand and power tools, hand grinders, and measuring tools to accomplish your tasks. Our warehouse utilizes sit-down forklifts to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Sand, grind, assemble, and cut materials for restaurant furniture.
  • Operate hand and power tools with precision.
  • Utilize hand grinders and measuring tools effectively.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts in the warehouse environment.
Essential Skills
  • General labor and machine operation experience.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience with construction, millwork, or cabinetry.
  • 1-2 years of experience using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with measuring tools.
  • 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in machine operation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and operate mechanical machines.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that requires standing for up to 10 hours. The millwork area can be dusty, and employees are provided with respirators. The facility can be warm during summer. Employees work closely in teams, fostering a supportive atmosphere. Standard work hours are 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Friday and Saturday. Dress code includes jeans or shorts, t-shirts, and steel-toed boots.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenyon, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
