My client is hiring a Mechanical Engineer II to support aviation safety research and testing for a federal program in southern New Jersey. You will lead test planning, data collection, and analysis across fire testing, thermal, and fluid systems, with real ownership from day one.

What you'll be doing
- Plan, design, and execute fire, thermal, and fluid systems experiments.
- Develop test plans, drawings, and data acquisition systems.
- Analyze data across mechanical, thermal, and structural systems to support research conclusions.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal teams and government stakeholders.
About you
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in fire-testing environments with PPE.
- US citizenship required, with eligibility to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Solidworks.
