Our customer inWest Bend, Wisconsinis seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruitingPunch Press Operatorsto work full-time on2ndshift. As aPunch Press Operator, you will be responsible foroperating and maintaining robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality welds on various metal components.
Responsibilities of thePunch Press Operator:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding machines according to established procedures and specifications
- Inspect materials and components to ensure proper alignment and fit before welding
- Monitor welds for consistency and quality,making adjustmentsas needed to meet production standards
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on welding robots and related equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Record production data, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during welding operations
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of robotic welding technologies
Punch Press OperatorRequirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 2yearspunchpress operatorexperience
- Previous experience as a punch press operator, advanced skilled preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a variety of conditions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members
Pay forPunch Press Operator:$20-25/hour, based on experience.
