Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Material Handler to join our team, responsible for efficiently moving and delivering materials within our facility. This role involves manual labor, including drilling materials and cleaning poles, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Follow work orders or oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved or delivered.
  • Drill materials and clean poles as needed.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves manually.
  • Measure materials accurately to prepare for the burn table, down to 1/16 inch.
  • Move products to designated chip bins and trash containers as required.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with overhead cranes is mandatory.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and read a tape measure.
  • Heavy industrial material handling experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Machine operation experience is preferred for future direct roles.
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and employ safe working habits.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility from Monday to Friday, 5am to 3:30pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. The role primarily involves overhead crane operations rather than forklift usage.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
