Our local State Farm agent office is looking for an Account Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping individuals and families protect what matters most to them.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where your effort and results are recognized. You’ll have the opportunity to develop valuable sales and insurance experience while building long-term relationships with customers in our local community.

What You'll Do

As an Account Manager, you will help grow and retain our customer base by:

  • Developing new customer relationships through inbound and outbound sales opportunities
  • Conducting needs-based conversations with prospective and existing customers
  • Presenting appropriate insurance products and coverage options
  • Following up with leads and prospective customers
  • Cross-selling additional products based on customer needs
  • Building strong relationships with existing customers
  • Conducting account reviews and identifying coverage opportunities
  • Assisting customers with policy questions and account needs
  • Supporting customer retention and proactively addressing potential concerns
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and documenting interactions
  • Meeting individual and office sales, activity, and retention goals
  • Participating in office marketing and community outreach initiatives
  • Providing a professional and positive customer experience

Previous insurance or sales experience is helpful, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, or other relationship-based experience.

Licensing

Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses may be required. Candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered if they are willing and able to obtain the required licenses within an established timeframe.
