The organization is seeking an energetic Store Manager to lead its Savannah location and create an engaging environment for both customers and employees.

Job Description

Our client is looking for a hands-on Store Manager who can effectively lead a retail team while remaining actively involved in daily store operations. This individual will oversee sales performance, team development, inventory, scheduling, customer service, events, and overall store presentation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. They should be energized by solving problems, confident making decisions, and willing to lead by example. No task is too small when it comes to supporting the team and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the sales team while maintaining a visible presence on the retail floor.
  • Establish sales objectives, communicate priorities, and monitor progress toward team goals.
  • Oversee customer walk-ins, reservations, and scheduled experiences.
  • Monitor inventory levels, back stock, product replenishment, and new merchandise.
  • Review incoming shipments and invoices to ensure products are accurately received and processed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and fully operational store environment.
  • Address customer and employee concerns professionally while ensuring company policies are followed.
  • Respond to private event inquiries and customer emails in a timely manner.
  • Develop local outreach opportunities, including fundraising and community partnerships.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly store updates and performance recaps.
  • Review and approve timecard adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor customer reviews and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
  • Maintain accurate deposit records and ensure required documentation is current.
  • Keep ordering information updated and maintain appropriate product levels.
  • Build employee schedules at least two weeks in advance while ensuring appropriate staffing coverage.
  • Coordinate required banking and invoice-processing activities.
  • Support and/or host private events and promotional pop-up experiences each month.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and day-to-day support to team members and key holders.
  • Assist with other store operations as needed to ensure a successful customer and employee experience.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of retail management or comparable leadership experience.
  • Previous experience managing a team of approximately 10 or more employees preferred.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales, and customer service.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • High-energy, self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative.
  • Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership of store operations.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, email, internet-based systems, and other standard business technology.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Must be comfortable working onsite and maintaining flexibility during busy retail periods.
  • Must be able to bend, reach, and stretch to access merchandise and regularly move throughout all areas of the store.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Additional Details

  • Salary: $50,000–$55,000 annually
  • Location: Savannah, GA onsite
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Overtime: Not eligible
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Interview Process: Two rounds
  • Team: Approximately 5–7 sales staff, including 3–4 key holders
  • Availability: Must be available during peak business periods, including weekends and some holidays
