REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial work environment
• Experience using ERP systems (Epicor is a plus)
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to type 25+ wpm
• Comfort with using equipment like saws, crimpers, forklifts, and CNC machines
• Technical understanding of production machinery, OSHA standards, and quality control
• 21+ years of age (for driving activities)
• High school degree or equivalent
• Forklift certification or ability to complete company-provided training
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• CPR, First-Aid, and BBP certification/training (is a plus)

Production Line Supervisor Competencies

• Ability to read and follow technical work instructions/documents
• Ability to use proper lifting techniques to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to read tape measures and digital calipers
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, multiplication, division, etc.)
• Ability to lead by example and model integrity, accountability, and positivity
• Ability to make decisions under pressure
• Ability to set daily goals, delegate responsibilities, and monitor team performance
• Ability to prioritize tasks, quickly resolve issues, and manage daily operations
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances/new information and navigate unexpected obstacles or complex situations
• Ability to deliver clear instructions and provide constructive feedback

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR PRODUCTION LINE SUPERVISOR

This position works Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm, and same hours on alternating Thursdays.

Along with the production manager, you'll oversee our daily operations and execute effective strategies for increasing efficiency and productivity. You'll set your team up for success by setting daily targets and providing valuable coaching to empower them to meet and exceed their goals. Leading by example, you'll motivate your team to keep learning and improving their skills. In case of any problems (equipment malfunctions, product nonconformances, safety violations, etc.), you'll quickly identify the root cause and take corrective action, including notifying your manager of maintenance concerns.

You'll monitor your team as they accurately bend tubes according to customer requirements, providing on-the-job safety and quality training as needed. Supporting daily productivity, you'll coordinate resources, determine unit structures, and proactively identify/address procedural bottlenecks. Continuous improvement will be one of your priorities, and you'll actively find opportunities to streamline workflows and optimize team output. You'll ensure quality control in finished products and compliance with all ISO documentation requirements. Thinking about the big picture, you'll support longer-term planning initiatives and assist in other areas as needed to ensure daily success!
