Job Title: Inspector/NDT Level 2

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector/NDT Level 2 professional who can efficiently and accurately perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft airframe and landing gear hardware. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficiency in dimensional inspection using handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges is essential. A working knowledge of FAA Part 145 is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of aircraft airframe and landing gear hardware.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient inspection processes are followed.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
  • Utilize handheld inspection tools proficiently, including micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of FAA Part 145 regulations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using handheld inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
  • Knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in quality control inspection within a manufacturing or metal finishing environment preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with AS9100 standards.
  • NDT Level II certification in liquid penetrant inspection.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of shipping experience inspecting in an industrial environment.

Work Environment

This role operates within a first shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4 PM in an industrial/shop environment. The setting is non-climate controlled and requires comfort in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, dust, fumes, odors, and temperature variations. The position requires occasional moderate lifting of parts and materials ranging from 5lbs to 75lbs. Employees are required to move about the facility, adhere to a jeans/shirt dress code, and wear steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses, which are provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
