LINE COOK THE RAGING BULL

Location: Pennsauken, New Jersey
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM

The Raging Bull is seeking a dependable and experienced line cook to join our kitchen team. We specialize in cheesesteaks, smash burgers, fries and other made-to-order food. We need someone who can work efficiently, follow established recipes and build every order to our exact specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items accurately and consistently
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes and build instructions
  • Complete daily ingredient preparation and restocking
  • Operate the griddle, fryer and other kitchen equipment safely
  • Read tickets and coordinate multiple orders during busy periods
  • Maintain a clean, organized and properly stocked workstation
  • Follow food-safety, sanitation and proper food-handling procedures
  • Assist with opening, closing, dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning
  • Minimize waste and properly rotate, label and store ingredients
  • Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with the owner and other employees

Qualifications:

  • Previous line-cook or professional kitchen experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with a griddle and fryer
  • Capable of preparing ingredients and following written recipes
  • Able to work quickly without sacrificing quality or accuracy
  • Dependable, punctual and available for scheduled shifts
  • Clean, organized and attentive to food safety
  • Able to remain on your feet and work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
  • Able to lift and move typical kitchen supplies and equipment, with reasonable accommodation when needed
  • Willing to learn and follow The Raging Bull’s specific cooking and portioning procedures
  • Must maintain a professional attitude and a clean personal appearance

The right candidate does not need to know our menu on the first day, but must already understand how to work professionally in a kitchen. We will provide clear recipes, build specifications and training on our procedures.
