Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a part-time virtual Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students through a short-term contract. In this flexible role, you'll collaborate virtually with school teams and play a key part in student success across grade levels.
What You'll Bring:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Louisiana (LA OT License required)
- Experience with re-evaluations and IEP documentation across diverse grade levels
- Familiarity with PreK student evaluations
- Ability to supervise a COTA in accordance with state and school requirements
- Comfort with virtual service delivery and related technology platforms
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely re-evaluations for students in multiple grades via a remote platform
- Complete PreK evaluations on Fridays, focusing on individual student needs
- Dedicate at least one day per week to IEP completion and related administrative tasks
- Provide supervision to a COTA, offering guidance and ensuring quality care
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation to support student services
- Collaborate with school staff and participate in team meetings as needed
