Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented student for an entry-level Part-Time Receptionist and Administrative Assistant position. In this role, you will support daily office operations, manage front-desk communication, and assist with basic administrative and accounting tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build professional office experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Reception & Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact; communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members via phone, email, and in person.
- Record Keeping & Filing: Maintain accurate financial and business records, performing regular filing and document management.
- Administrative & Accounting Support: Assist with general office, accounting, and operational tasks as needed.
- Vendor & Order Coordination: Run orders, make phone calls, coordinate deliveries, and evaluate competitive vendor pricing.
- Software Usage: Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Access) for data entry, documentation, and reporting.
- Multi-Tasking: Manage multiple ongoing projects and assist with day-to-day planning and scheduling.
Qualifications
- Education: Current student (Entry-level; no prior experience required).
- Software Skills: Proficiency or familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) or Spanish as a second language is strongly preferred.
- Preferred Experience: Previous accounting or office experience is a plus, but not required.
