MP&L Operator

Location: Statesboro, GA
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The MP&L Operator supports receiving, shipping, material handling, repacking, and production-floor logistics in a manufacturing environment. This position ensures materials are properly received, organized, labeled, and delivered to production and shipping areas.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks and carts.
  • Inspect, sort, and store incoming materials in designated locations.
  • Pull, scan, label, repack, and load materials for shipment.
  • Create advance shipping notices as needed.
  • Replenish production lines, shelves, bins, and carts according to the production plan.
  • Monitor production lines and maintain a steady flow of materials.
  • Maintain clean, organized receiving, shipping, and repack areas.
  • Operate equipment such as compactors, balers, augers, and dumpsters.
  • Follow all safety, plant, 5S, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work overtime as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently bend, reach, push, and pull.
  • Push and pull carts weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes.
