Inpatient / Clinical Pharmacist - Riverside, CA

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Contract Inpatient Pharmacist

An opportunity is available for an Inpatient Pharmacist with inpatient experience to support a large health-system in Riverside, CA. This role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmacy services. The position is a 3-6-month contract, requiring candidates to commit for the full duration of contract.

Schedule: Mixed days/evenings/weekend rotation
System: EPIC/Meditech/Cerner
Duration: 3-6 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee intravenous (IV) admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient-centered pharmaceutical care
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements
Utilize EPIC system for accurate and efficient documentation and medication order processing

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Active CA Pharmacist license is mandatory
Minimum of 1 year hospital experience, including sterile compounding or IV room operations
Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy procedures and standards
Proficiency in using EPIC/Meditech/Cerner electronic health records systems
Detail-oriented with excellent communication and teamwork skills

Compensation: $65 - $85/hour (DOE and specific role)

*Eligible travel candidates may also receive housing and meals/incidentals stipends.
