Defense Warehouse & Classified Materials Handler
Are you steady under pressure, precise with documentation, and confident around forklifts and secure cages? Join our Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) Joint Venture team in Camden to keep mission-critical materials movingsafely, compliantly, and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify both classified and unclassified items per approved SOPs.
- Place materials into controlled storage locations following access control and safeguarding requirements.
- Pick, stage, package, and document classified shipments using approved procedures and records.
- Operate MHE: forklift, pallet jacks, order picker, reach truck, and yard truck.
- Transport materials via company vehicle in compliance with CDL and DOT regulations.
- Execute WMS transactions; perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories in secure areas.
- Adhere to all security, safety, environmental, and hazmat handling standards; report discrepancies immediately.
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; maintain a clean, organized, and controlled workspace.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 3+ months of related experience/training or equivalent combination.
- Certified or experienced on forklift, order picker, reach truck, and yard truck.
- Organized, quick-paced, and detail-focused; able to lift 30 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable handling hazardous materials.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to read/apply safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Math proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Experience in secure/regulatory warehouse operations; knowledgeable in chain of custody and controlled material handling.
- Follows SOPs and security protocols; protects sensitive information.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory/documentation tasks.
- Eligible for a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance).
Nice to Have
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience supporting DoD and non-DoD government contracts.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
