Brookhaven Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our front desk team in Atlanta. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and pets and can thrive in a busy veterinary hospital environment.
Pay: $15–$17/hour, based on experience
What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll help create a positive experience for clients and patients while keeping the front desk and hospital running efficiently.
- Welcome clients and pets with a friendly, professional approach
- Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communications
- Handle patient check-in and check-out, invoices, and payments
- Maintain accurate client and patient information and veterinary medical records
- Coordinate patient flow with veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and the medical team
- Answer questions and provide information about veterinary services, wellness, and preventative care
- Address client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area
- Support daily veterinary hospital operations and front desk needs
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of veterinary receptionist, veterinary CSR, veterinary client service, or veterinary front desk experience
- Experience in a veterinary hospital, animal hospital, veterinary clinic, or similar medical setting
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with both people and animals
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Schedule flexibility, including rotating weekends
Preferred: Experience with veterinary practice management software such as Cornerstone, AVImark, or similar systems, along with experience in appointment scheduling, medical records, payments, and client education.
Full-time | 70–80 hours per pay period
Rotating weekend shifts required. Brookhaven Animal Hospital is closed on major federal holidays.
