We are looking for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the manufacturing and production of advanced aerospace and inertial sensor technologies in Minneapolis.

This is a hands-on manufacturing engineering role focused on process improvement, failure analysis, production support, testing, and improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality.

What You’ll Do

  • Support manufacturing and testing of advanced inertial measurement units and sensor products
  • Analyze yield, performance, and production data to identify trends and process issues
  • Investigate technical problems and perform root cause and failure analysis
  • Develop, modify, and improve manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on quality, cost, cycle time, and efficiency
  • Define requirements for manufacturing equipment, tooling, and test equipment
  • Provide hands-on support to daily production activities
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and test issues
  • Support preventative maintenance plans for manufacturing and test equipment
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, test, lab, and operations teams
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, RCCA, and other process improvement methods

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or another STEM field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, test, fabrication, or assembly
  • Hands-on experience developing or improving manufacturing processes
  • Experience with root cause analysis, failure analysis, or RCCA
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, or continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and production teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage daily production issues while also driving longer-term improvement projects

Preferred Background

Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, avionics, sensors, precision manufacturing, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments is a plus.
