Insight Global is seeking aQuality Control Manager (QCM)to support federal construction projects for a leading construction client specializing in complex, regulated environments. This individual will serve as the primary quality authority on site, partnering closely with the Superintendent to ensure all construction activities comply with federal contract requirements, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on federal QC experience, thrives in highly structured environments, and is confident in overseeing subcontractor performance while maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting standards. This is a long-term, stable opportunity supporting mission-critical federal work.

Day-to-Day:

  • Implement and manage the projectQuality Control Plan (QCP)
  • Conduct and document daily quality inspections across all active scopes
  • Work alongside the Superintendent to ensure subcontractor compliance
  • Oversee and verify subcontractor work meets contract specifications
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and validation activities
  • Maintain complete, accurate QC documentation and reporting
  • Ensure all construction activities meetUSACE/NAVFACand federal standards
  • Support overall project execution while prioritizing quality compliance

The Ideal candidate has:

• Experience with: - Earthwork - Concrete placement & testing - Rebar installation & verification - Utility coordination (electric, water, heavy civil)

• Strong understanding of: - Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA) - Federal construction quality standards & specifications

• Experience performing and documenting: - Daily inspections - Photo documentation - QC reports

Plusses:

  • Direct experience supportingNAVFACorU.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)projects
  • First Aid / CPR certification
  • EMT training (30–40 hours)
  • Additional safety or federal construction training
  • Experience working closely with Superintendents on federal sites
