We are seeking an experienced Quality Control & Assurance Inspector to join a growing aviation operation in Chesterfield, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for an aviation professional who takes pride in quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional workmanship.

In this position, you will play an important role in overseeing quality activities related to aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, and refurbishment. You will work closely with technicians, maintenance inspectors, customers, management, and regulatory representatives, including the FAA.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform and document in-process and final inspections on aircraft-related work.
  • Monitor quality activities to ensure continued regulatory and company compliance.
  • Review completed work orders for accuracy, required documentation, and signatures.
  • Perform final project release procedures and assist with Certificates of Conformance (CofC).
  • Work directly with technicians and maintenance personnel to address technical and regulatory concerns.
  • Communicate with FAA personnel, manufacturers' representatives, customers, and other regulatory contacts when necessary.
  • Review aircraft maintenance records and documentation.
  • Assist with documentation supporting Major Repairs and Alterations, FAA Field Approvals, and FAA Form 8130-3.
  • Inspect aircraft interior and other applicable work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Help resolve quality-control concerns across multiple departments.
  • Ensure required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Support the team in delivering work that meets both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring strong aviation quality or inspection experience and a solid understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and Repair Station operations.

Candidates should have knowledge of applicable regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 1, 21, 23, 39, 43, 91, 135, and 145, along with familiarity with aircraft maintenance operations. Experience involving aircraft interiors and paint operations is especially valuable.

You should also bring excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, solid organizational abilities, good customer-service skills, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with aviation systems such as Corridor, AMSTAT, CAMP, STARS, or CESSCOM is beneficial.
