The Team Developer is a non-exempt management position that reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for overseeing and coordinating Medicaid-funded programs. The role combines program administration, staff supervision, client services, compliance oversight, budgeting, reporting, and organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Ensure programs operate in compliance with organizational policies, Medicaid regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintain client records, documentation systems, and program data.
- Monitor program activities and manage risks.
Staff Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff.
- Implement HR policies and maintain confidential personnel records.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure employees receive training in areas such as medication management, crisis intervention, budgeting, housing support, documentation, and client advocacy.
- Supervise up to 50% of employees and clients served.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
- Prepare reports for leadership and the Board.
- Communicate with funders and ensure billing and claims submissions are accurate and timely.
- Assist with budget monitoring and financial accountability.
Client Services
- Provide direct support to clients when needed.
- Develop and implement assessments, social histories, service plans, and interventions.
- Monitor client goal progress and complete required reporting.
- Audit documentation for quality and Medicaid compliance.
- Promote client health, safety, independence, community involvement, and advocacy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; significant management experience may substitute.
- At least 3 years of human services experience.
- Knowledge of program management, Medicaid services, budgeting, operations, and best practices.
- Strong computer, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
