Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required)

Salary Range: $70,000 – $110,000 (DOE)

Positions Available: 2 (1 Entry-Level, 1 Mid-Level)

Position Overview

We are seeking Network Assessment & DevSecOps Engineers to join a high-visibility team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will evaluate existing network architectures, perform blue-teaming/defensive security assessments, and build comprehensive network topologies to help shape and design architecture for upcoming defense contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map, diagram, and document existing enterprise network topologies to support future contract architecture design.

  • Conduct network security assessments and defensive blue-teaming operations to identify vulnerabilities and bottlenecks.

  • Implement automated scripts and CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) to streamline network configuration and testing.

  • Collaborate with systems engineers to propose tactical network improvements and modernization plans.

Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

  • Experience Levels:

    • Entry-Level ($70k - $85k): 0–2 years of experience with network mapping, Visio/Nmap/Wireshark, and basic scripting (Python/Bash).

    • Mid-Level ($85k - $110k): 3–5+ years of experience with network architecture assessments, defensive cyber/blue teaming, and DevSecOps tooling.

  • Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE) required or ability to obtain within 60 days.

  • Skills: Hands-on familiarity with network mapping tools, packet capture analysis, defensive cybersecurity practices, and network design concepts.
