Senior Accounting Manager / Senior AccountantPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Controllership team. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP, and supporting month-end close and financial analysis activities.
The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, experience with revenue recognition and internal controls, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and US GAAP.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries.
- Support the monthly close process and fluctuation analysis.
- Assist with statutory reporting and external audit activities.
- Support internal control processes and ensure appropriate compliance.
- Partner with business teams and corporate functions to address accounting-related matters.
- Collaborate with the broader North America Controllership team on special projects and other accounting initiatives.
- Effectively manage multiple deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide accounting guidance and support to business partners and management as needed.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards and US GAAP.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including experience with revenue recognition.
- Deep understanding of internal controls and accounting processes.
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a large, multinational organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working within a large multinational organization.
- Previous experience in the IT services industry or a related technology environment.
- Experience supporting statutory reporting and external audits.
- Strong business partnership skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
