Job Title:Equipment Operator II
Location: Neenah, WI (onsite)
Contract Duration: 14 weeks

Job Description:
Role Accountabilities

  • Master all manufacturing process elements including troubleshooting, basic repair, and quality checks.
  • Exhibit appropriate interpersonal skills necessary to work as a member of a high performing team.
  • Maintain accurate and complete production, waste, delay and quality reports.
  • Log and (or) report results as necessary.

Safety

  • Safely operate high speed technologically advanced manufacturing equipment.
  • Exhibit a safety-first culture
  • Promote/utilize 3 obligations
  • Promote/support Safety Observation process, ETQ, and SIRA processes
  • Support housekeeping initiatives for department

Quality

  • Maintains product quality.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the shift as required.
  • Support Quality systems (quality tracker, stand checks, bag/case weigher, metal detector)
  • Familiarity with how attributes are measured for % on target

Required Qualifications

  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Basic Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing/ related industrial experience or equivalent Military education/ training.
  • Can maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs., ascend and descend stairs, perform bending, twisting, stooping and crouching motions and use strong gripping hand functions frequently.
  • All are required to wear required PPE including ear, eye, and toe protection, as regular exposure to high noise levels, dust and some chemicals will occur.
  • Previous or current experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with industrial manufacturing equipment, tractors, and forklifts is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and complete multiple complex tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical, technical or manufacturing skills or related experience
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability, including troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution
  • Previous or current experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with industrial tractors or forklift operations

Schedule:

  • The position is onsite, swing shifts (daysANDnights) on a 2-2-3 schedule
  • The first couple days candidates will be training solely on day shift. After training and shadowing has completed, they will then be assigned an actual shift/crew (schedule attached in Beeline) and follow their designated shift pattern
  • The environment itself is temperature controlled, typically 70 degrees year-round
  • Indoors, it’s a very clean and bright environment
  • Must be comfortable being on their feet most of the shift
  • Once hired on,there are more opportunities to apply for just day shiftor just night shifts,instead of swings (but still on the 2-2-3 schedule)
