About the Role:
Image Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team in Murfreesboro, TN! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic orthodontic environment where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and beautiful smiles every day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontist chairside during patient examinations, adjustments, and orthodontic procedures
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances, archwires, and ligatures under doctor supervision
- Take and process dental X-rays, photographs, and digital scans (iTero/impressions)
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment progress
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, compliant treatment area
- Document patient records accurately in practice management software
- Collaborate with front office and clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Requirements:
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification in Tennessee
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- Familiarity with orthodontic procedures, banding, bonding, and wire changes
- Radiology certification required
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered, friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Proficiency with dental practice management software is a plus
