Accounts Payable Processor (Part-Time)

Our client is searching for a part-time Accounts Payable Processor for their small office located in Hempstead. This is a part-time and temporary position (3-4 days, 20-30 hours a week) that will handle accounting responsibilities for multiple family businesses and the salary range is $25-$28 per hour.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for proper approval and handle inquiries regarding invoice receipt and payment.
• Enter invoices into accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Review vendor statements for accuracy and process credit memos or overpayments due to the company.
• Handle other issues with regard to maintenance of the accounts payable function (filing invoices, retrieving copies of invoices for account analysis, system maintenance, etc.).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar software experience.
• Strong communication skills for working with vendors and other staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
