Join a high-energy shock assembly plant where you use hand and power tools to build shocks for off-road and powersports equipment such as ATVs, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, and motorcycles. You work on a fast-paced production line, following written work instructions to assemble high-quality shocks that meet daily output goals.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks on shock components and related parts.
  • Follow detailed assembly steps to complete each shock within the target build time of approximately 25 minutes.
  • Meet or exceed daily production quotas, contributing to a team goal of building up to 700 shocks per day, then 600 per day after March.
  • Lift and move parts and finished shocks weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Work at long metal table stations in close quarters with other assemblers while maintaining safe and efficient work habits.
  • Use tape measures and other basic measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure proper fit and alignment of components.
  • Perform small motor skill tasks such as stickering, cleaning, and handling small parts with accuracy and care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning parts and workstations as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors about work status, issues, and any support needed to meet production goals.
  • Follow all safety guidelines when using hand and power tools, and report any equipment or safety concerns promptly.
  • Support overtime and extended hours as needed to meet production demands and customer requirements.

Essential Skills

  • 3–6 months of previous experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on assembly experience in a production or manufacturing setting, such as production assembler or manufacturing assembler roles.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak clearly to understand written work instructions and communicate with the team.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with daily production quotas and time-based assembly targets.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the workday.

  • Familiarity with both hand and power tools used for mechanical and assembly work.
  • Experience working at long metal table stations on a production line.
  • Ability to perform fine motor tasks such as applying stickers, cleaning components, and handling small parts.
  • Comfort working toward specific output targets, such as building hundreds of units per day.
  • Interest in powersports or automotive components and working with products used in ATVs, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, and motorcycles.

Why Work Here?
