Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Machinist in the Suwanee, Georgia area. This is a direct-hire position on 1st shift.

This position requires specialized knowledge.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operation of gear CNC machines
  • Perform offsets and edits on programs
  • Verify quality of work
  • Meet daily production goals
  • Maintain proper inventory of hand tools and inspection equipment
  • Record product and processing data
  • Wear PPE as needed


Experience Needed:

  • Associates Degree in Machine Shop Technology is preferred
  • At least 3years of CNC machining of gears
  • Experience reading blueprints, GD&T, and inspection reports
  • Experience with Gleason, Nidec, KAPP, Liebherr, or similar gear manufacturing equipment
  • Experience performing changeovers and changing tooling
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to produce parts with tight tolerances
  • Programming experience is preferred
