Rough framing

Position: Rough Framing Carpenter / Framing Crew Member
Job Type: Full-Time

CNO Pole Barns & Garages is looking for an experienced Rough Framing Carpenter to join our construction crews. We build residential homes, pole barns, garages, additions, and commercial structures throughout Southeast Michigan.

• Perform rough framing for residential and post-frame construction

• Layout walls, openings, doors, and windows from plans

• Frame exterior and interior walls

• Install floor and roof framing

• Install structural sheathing, blocking, and bracing

• Set and install trusses and rafters

• Read and follow construction drawings and specifications

• Measure, cut, and install lumber accurately

• Maintain proper building alignment, plumb, level, and square

• Work safely with hand and power tools

• Assist with material handling and job-site cleanup

• Coordinate with other crew members and subcontractors

• Follow company quality and safety standards

• 2+ years of rough framing experience preferred

• Experience with residential or post-frame construction

• Ability to read basic construction plans

• Proficient with framing tools

• Ability to work at heights and outdoors

• Reliable transportation

• Good attendance and work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

• Valid driver's license preferred

$22–$40/hour, depending on experience and skill level.
