Responsibilities:- Provide direct personal care and behavioral support to individuals with developmental, intellectual, or behavioral needs
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of a supervising clinician or behavior specialist
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
- Monitor, document, and report behavioral changes, progress, and incidents accurately
- Use positive reinforcement strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage skill development
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and programs daily
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support client goals
Requirements:- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in psychology, social work, or human services preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with behavioral, developmental, or intellectual disabilities preferred
- Familiarity with behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA principles is a plus
- Strong communication, patience, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid Mississippi driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
