Incoming Inspector

Job Title: Incoming InspectorLocation: Batesburg-Leesville, SCType: ContractCompensation: $35.00/hr – $40.00/hrWork Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections of incoming materials as well printed circuit boards
• Document inspection results, defects, and nonconformities
• Assist in inspection of containment
• Assist production groups with inspection of materials
• Verify supplier documentation, including certificates of conformity and measurement reports
• Use precise measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Perform transaction within SAP for incoming inspection
• Successfully complete IPC 610/620 Certification
• Lift, stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time
• Lift or lower items weighing < 24lbs (10.9kg) and push or pull efforts < 42lbs (19kg)

Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience incoming inspection, electronic assemblies, or mechanical assemblies
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications and experience with SAP software
