Motor Shop Electrical Technician Apprentice

Starting Pay: $18-$25/hr | Day Shift

Looking for a hands-on career where you can learn valuable electrical and mechanical skills? Join a growing motor repair team and build your expertise working on industrial electromechanical equipment.

In this role, you'll assist with troubleshooting, testing, repairing, rewinding, and rebuilding electric motors, transformers, and other electromechanical equipment. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, gain specialized training, and develop skills that can lead to a long-term career in the industry.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and repair electric motors and electromechanical equipment
• Assist with motor rewinding, testing, and rebuilding
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble equipment
• Document repair findings and test results
• Operate specialized shop equipment and tools
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Technical training or hands-on experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial shop environment
• Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and work as part of a team

This is a Contract position based out of Lennox, SD.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
