Randstad is currently working with a Logistics and Transportation company that is hiring an Operations Supervisor for their faciltiy in Auburn, ME. This is a Permanent position with our client.Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation industry.
- Experience with Vendor and Client relations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities
- Assign work activities and monitor group activities .
- Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures.
- Guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements.
- Monitor and maintain availability of materials, tools and supplies.
- Ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs.
- Oversee the usage of equipment.
- Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation.
- Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity.
