Position Title:Data Center Security Officer
Available Shifts:
Shift 1: Monday-Tuesday 6:00am-6:00pm, Wednesday 6:00am-2:00pm
Shift 2: Thursday-Saturday: 6:00am-6:00pm
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises and assets, as well as maintaining a positive and secure environment for the customers and clients on-site. The ideal candidate will possess akeen eye for detail, experience withconflict management, and excellentcustomer service skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain entrance and exit control from a guard shack on site by checking badges, vehicle permits, and confirming identification.
- Maintain a high level of visibility and awareness of the surroundings, reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to the security team.
- Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent and mitigate potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as necessary to address security concerns and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain a positive and secure environment by interacting with employees, visitors, and the public in a professional and respectful manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and activities.
- PPE will be required to be worn whenever exiting the company vehicle such as gloves, hard hat, reflective vest, eye protection, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least18 years of age
- Must have avalid driver’s license
- Must be able tomaintain site-specific security orders
- Must be able topass a background check & drug test
- Must have aworking and functional smartphone with datato conduct reports
- Must own personal transportation or havereliable transportation to get to and from work
Education:
- High school diploma or GED isrequired
