Job Summary
We are seeking a precise and reliable Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Minooka, IL on the 3rd shift. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory levels across the warehouse through cycle counting, stock audits, discrepancy investigations, and direct system reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify system stock levels
- Investigate, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, and misplaced items
- Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track location updates, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments
- Inspect incoming and outgoing stock for damaged products or improper labeling
- Maintain accurate inventory records and generate daily audit reports for management
- Collaborate with shipping, receiving, and floor associates to correct location errors and optimize slotting
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality control guidelines, and company procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse experience preferred
- Proficiency with RF scanners, data entry, and basic inventory management systems
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (such as cherry pickers or reach trucks) is a plus
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or bend throughout an 8-hour shift #IND-H
