  • Job Title : Process Engineer Assembly
  • Location : Kansas City, Missouri
  • Type of contract :Long-term At-will

Responsibilities :

  • Participatesin the conception of the assembly process and equipment with EPM, MPM and associated extended team.
  • SupportsMPM/IPMfor technical choicesin order toimprove the process.
  • Establishestechnical and economic analysis of suppliers’ offers, together with purchasing department,in order toselect the best solution.
  • Followsup the Design and the realization of assembly equipment
  • Realizes functionalspecificationsregardingproject elements and standard elements.
  • Validatesequipment study (Including supervision of FMEA), ergonomics study and the choice ofpossible solutions
  • Updates/adaptsformer feasibility study and technical choices if needed (Perimeter changes)
  • Validatesequipment in supplier workshop, fine tune the equipment in the plant and ensure smooth transfer to plant team
  • Ensuresthe tuning of the equipment is properly done following instructionsgivenbyEPM/MPM,in order toconverge to the product conformity.
  • Validatesnecessary documentation for each equipment.
  • Analysesresultsof actions plan, of validation plan and risk plans

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelordegree with experience or mechanical engineeringmasterdegree
  • 2/3 years of experience in assembly field in plant or equipment supplier or other automotive tier 1 supplier as assembly equipment project manager.
  • Possible for young engineer graduate with former experience in assembly as trainee or intern
  • Goodcommand ofEnglish
  • Good understanding of HSE/ergonomics
