Material handlers support production and warehouse operations by performing tasks such as:
- Receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials against purchase orders, including checking item numbers, quantities, and condition
- Organizing and maintaining inventory, including labeling, recording locations, conducting cycle counts, and reporting shortages or damaged good
- Operating and performing basic maintenance on material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
