Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and enhance software applications that support products and customers. This role involves managing projects from requirements through deployment, including architecture design, system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting. The engineer will collaborate closely with the development team on technical design decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the position provides advanced support for complex software issues while maintaining a primary focus on software development and engineering activities.

• Design, develop, and enhance software applications.
• Own projects from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Engage in architecture design, system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the development team on technical design decisions and code reviews.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide advanced support for complex software issues.

• Proficiency in Linux environments and command-line interfaces.
• Experience with industrial automation, SCADA, and API integration.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Competency in using frontend frameworks such as React or Flutter.
• Experience with REST APIs and API integration tools.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience developing software applications using one or more coding languages.

The position offers an open remote work arrangement with occasional travel onsite, preferably in Wisconsin or a neighboring state.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ripon, WI.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
