Pay Range: $40.12 – $62.00/hr. (Based on experience) + Benefits

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor to support the Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit in Tulsa, OK.

This leadership role combines clinical expertise with staff coordination, patient placement oversight, and operational support to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiac environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, recent Cardiac Surgical Stepdown experience, and the ability to effectively manage staffing and patient flow during weekend night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Evaluate staffing needs and coordinate patient placement
• Provide clinical guidance and problem resolution for patient care activities
• Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and bed management
• Monitor standards of care and ensure policy compliance
• Coach, mentor, and support nursing personnel
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement and educational initiatives
• Provide direct patient care as needed

Qualifications

Required

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical Stepdown experience
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments

Preferred

• Cardiac or Critical Care leadership background
• Experience with staffing coordination and patient placement
