Production Operator
Ocilla, GA | $13.50/ hour
We are searching for a production operator to ensure smooth and proper manufacturing of our product. You will be supporting the overall operations of the Tifton plant. This includes performing your duties in a plant environment. You will be exposed to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Blend and mix raw materials to create a final product
- Climb ladder to get inside of tank to neutralize it for the next batch of chemicals
- Review specification sheet to ensure all raw materials are available and ready for use
- Prepare documentation to support use of raw materials
- Prepare pallet ticket for finished product
- Report any damaged material
- Complete proper paperwork
- Follow through with cleanup of your work station
- Aid other employees and the manager in additional duties
Requirements:
- Lift and move up to 100lbs
- Minimum age 18
- Clean drug screen
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to climb inside of a tank
- Stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable with heights and enclosed spaces
- Wear and maintain proper PPE including a respirator
- Be physically agile
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Be able to convert US standards to metrics
- Have good reading and writing skills in English
- Work well with others and individually
- Be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
- Be clean shaven
Location: Ocilla, Georgia
Pay:$13.50 / hour
Schedule: 12 hour shift, 7:00pm-7:30am, rotating 2-2-3 schedule
