Title: Automated Production Equipment Operator
Location: Troutdale, Oregon | Night shift 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Alternating schedule: four days on and three days off one week; three days on and four days off the next.
Printing experience is not required. We will train a dependable person with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn industrial equipment.
Position Summary
The Automated Production Equipment Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring an automated production line that incorporates industrial digital printing, paper handling, web transport, cutting, folding, stacking, and material-handling systems.
The Operator follows established production procedures and specifications, monitors product quality and equipment performance, identifies changes or abnormalities in machine operation, and works closely with the on-site technical team to help maintain safe, accurate, and efficient production.
This position reports to the District Service Supervisor and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Schedule and Work Environment:
This position works a rotating 12-hour night schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with a 4-day workweek one week followed by a 3-day workweek the next.
Weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be required based on business and customer needs. Overtime will be administered and paid in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local wage-and-hour requirements.
Some travel may be required for training.
Work is performed in a production environment around large industrial machinery and moving equipment. Working conditions may include machinery noise, paper dust, cleaning products, and solvents used in accordance with established safety procedures.
