Pay: $15.00/hour

Spirit and Gems is hiring part-time Sales Associates for our new Front Royal location at Riverton Commons!

We are a growing local business specializing in vintage and antique items, jewelry, home dcor, furniture, collectibles, and consignment merchandise. We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy working with customers and are comfortable staying busy in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process customer purchases
• Assist customers with questions and locating merchandise
• Keep displays organized, clean, and well stocked
• Tag, price, and put out incoming merchandise as needed
• Help maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Assist with customer pickups and consignment-related needs
• Answer basic phone and customer questions
• Help with opening and closing duties
• Complete light cleaning and organizing during slower periods
• Assist management with other store tasks as needed

• Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized and able to pay attention to detail
• Comfortable learning a POS/register system
• Willing to stay productive during slower periods
• Interest in antiques, vintage items, jewelry, dcor, or resale is a plus, but not required
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required

This is a part-time position, primarily including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability. Additional hours may become available as the store grows.

Spirit and Gems is a locally owned and growing resale business with both retail and online auction operations. Our new Front Royal location will bring together consignment, vintage and antique merchandise, jewelry, furniture, dcor, collectibles, and more.
