Construction , Skilled & Trades

Description:

Measure, mark and arrange materials in preparation of building erection
Use miscellaneous power tools
Assemble materials per plans & specifications
Check accuracy of work with levels, plumb bobs, framing squares and making any necessary adjustments
Install roofing, siding & trim as required
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Complies with Astro policies and procedures
Operate construction equipment as required i.e.: skid steer, scissor lift, etc.

Requirements:

Any combination of job related experience and/or training which would produce the required knowledge, skills and abilities
Astro provides on-the-job training
Ability to perform tasks accurately, effectively and in a timely manner
Must be able to multitask, possess good communications skills
Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to work under time constraints
Ability to interface with customers, sub-contract crews and company personnel
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately
Ability to safely perform major job responsibilities with reasonable accommodations
Must be able to lift at least 80lbs
Lifting anything >80lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
